Hey there,
I'm Cody Heart. I live and work remote in Franklin, Tennessee. Before this, I spent two years in Manhattan, a decade in San Francisco, and grew up in Los Angeles.
I started designing and coding websites as a kid, breaking apart what I saw online just to figure out how it worked. That curiosity stuck with me and eventually pulled me toward design after college.
I studied illustration at California College of the Arts, but I was drawn more to structure, problem-solving, and making things click than style for style’s sake.
These days, I bridge design and operations — building the systems, processes, and tools that help product teams scale their impact. I focus on internal platforms, decision-making systems, and the behind-the-scenes work that quietly drives major efficiency gains and revenue growth. I bring a strategy-first mindset, think in systems, and work best with teams who care about getting it right.
Outside of work, I’m usually reading, boxing, or getting lost in a good game. I love stories that make you feel — favorites include Lonesome Dove, Stoner, and Project Hail Mary. I aim to read 50 books a year, though my dog insists on supervising every chapter like he’s writing the review himself.
