I’m Cody.
The work
Seven years in product design, almost all of it in healthcare. I designed member tools, claims software, and billing workflows at Collective Health, and now lead design at LifeStance Health for a national booking platform running across 33 states. The work I’m proudest of shows up as a number on a P&L — and every one of those numbers came from sitting with the people behind the workflow.
The life
I started as an art-school illustration kid in Los Angeles, drifted into operations at Postmates and Twitter, and taught myself design on the side. Since then: a decade in the Bay Area, two years in Manhattan, a few outside Nashville — and, in 2027, Chicago. Most of the best of it happens with Laura.
The hobbies
Fifty books a year and a reader’s atlas to keep track of them, boxing, and travel built around wildlife photography — the cheetah, grizzly, orangutan, and panda here are all mine. Four continents down, with plans to finish all seven in the next five years.
